Erica Cerra was born in Toronto, Canada on 31 October 1979. Her best-known role is the role of her role as deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy show Eureka. Cerra is the daughter of Italian parents living in Vancouver British Columbia. Cerra had a fascination with acting as early as eight and was featured in numerous commercials as she began her journey. Khondabi wrote that Joey Scribner Howard is her high school crush and is one of the mechanical engineers in the electric utility industry. Khondabi declared that Joey and she met at Greenwood Christian School, and they remained close for a number of years prior to beginning to date as senior high school students. Howard was a graduate of Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, but Khondabi and Howard kept in touch. They began to date. When I was a student in elementary school I was a journalist for educational interviews which were broadcasted on the news channel at our school. I was also in charge of reading out daily school headlines. Oakland Elementary had a news program named WOAK. Khondabi states that after college, her first real job as a news reporter television was with WAGT Augusta Georgia. I was in news about six years, she wrote. In the months following Augusta my first assignment was as a morning journalist for WOWK Charleston West Virginia. The next place I went to was Columbus Ohio for work as a traffic reporter and host of morning news.
